Rae Gene Robbins DES MOINES, Iowa -- Rae Gene Robbins, 88, of Des Moines, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at the Lone Tree Health Care Center. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007, at the McLaren's Rest Haven Chapel, West Des Moines. The Rev. Linda Stansky will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2007, at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Local arrangements are being provided by the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Mrs. Robbins was born March 4, 1919, in Hardin County, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Amy Moore Fearing. She married Benjamin M. Robbins June 6, 1942. She was a school teacher for over 30 years, teaching history, English and peer helpers. She was a member of the P.E.O., Eastern Star, the Angels and Zeta Phi Eta and attended Unity Church in West Des Moines.
