Born November 29, 1946 in Enna, Italy she was the daughter of the late Liborio and Carmela Calcagno Valguarnera. Maria enjoyed her vegetable garden, cooking, and loved her family especially each grandchild that arrived. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church.
