Harry Edward Cline Jr., age 92, of Quincy, died Sunday, July 4, 2021, at 3:45 pm in Blessing Hospital. Harry was born April 12, 1929 in Concord, North Carolina, the son of Harry E. and Lillian (Petrea) Cline. He married Martha Jane Blandford on February 14, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri. She preceded him in death on June 14, 2018. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in North Carolina, and from Pfeiffer College in 1948. Harry served in the United States Air Force as a radio operator during the Korean War. He was able to attend the Great River Honor Flight on June 21, 2012. Harry worked for Gates/Harris Radio as a program manager. After his retirement, he worked for the Quincy Public School as a Bus Driver for over 10 years. He was a long-time member of Luther Memorial, as well as a member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis, South Side Boat Club, and the Exhausted Roosters. Harry loved camping, trout fishing, gardening, and spending time with his friends and family at Bennett Springs every year. olyn (Mark) Howell of Arnold, MO, and Bill (Debbi) Cline, of Imperial, MO; a son-in-law, Pat Casey, of Crystal Lake, IL; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, with one more on the way; a brother, Martin (Nellie) Cline of Conway, SC; a sister, Nancy (Rev. Donald) Deal of Concord, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Harry was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Julia Casey, and two sisters, Helen Miller and Marguerite Cline. Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 12, 2021 at Luther Memorial, with Rev. Tony Metz officiating. Burial: Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, Illinois Visitation: 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Monday July 12, 2021 at Luther Memorial.
