Cheryl Kristine Klun

Cheryl Kristine Klun, resident of Roseville, MI and former resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, Zionsville, IN; Midland, MI and Madison, WI. passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the age of 71. Born March 29, 1950 in Two Harbors, MN, Cheryl was one of four girls born to the late John D. Melovasich and Ingrid V. (nee Anderson) Melovasich. In 1968, after graduating from Ely Memorial High School in Ely, MN, Cheryl began her career with the United States Forest Service. In 1973, Cheryl married Robert T. Klun, her husband of 48 years, and in 1977 they moved to Midland, MI where they raised their 3 children. During this time, Cheryl began a second career as a teacher's aide/reading tutor in the Midland school system and found joy in helping others. Her two passions in life were her family and cooking. She also had a strong Christian faith and enjoyed attending bible study. In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Jennifer L. Budek (Ryan M.) and Angela M.
