BELLA VISTA, Ark. -- Anna "Ann" Mathilde Deihl, 82, of Bella Vista, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark. Memorial services will also be Thursday, Oct. 18, in Bella Vista, with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at the Bethel Cemetery in Wapello, following the service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Dr., Bella Vista, Ark., 72714 or to the Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd., Springdale, Ark., 72762. Mrs. Deihl was born Oct. 24, 1924, in Morning Sun, the daughter of Thede Boysen and Marie Hinrichsen Boysen. She was raised and educated in Iowa and attended the American Institute of Commerce. She was employed at Republic Electric as a bookkeeper and also worked as a bookkeeper at Iowa State University. She married Irving Deihl June 14, 1946, in Cairo, Iowa. Moines. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista and enjoyed collecting giraffes. She is survived by her husband; a son, Russell Deihl and his wife, Rosemary, of Maywood, N.J.; a daughter, Rose Lyle of Des Moines; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Deihl of Lake Forest, Calif.; a brother, Edlef Boysen and his wife, Maxine, of Mediapolis; two sisters, Margaret Biggerstaff of Winfield and Suella Forrest and her husband, Richard, of Clinton; two grandchildren, Diandra Lyle and Jessie Deihl; four stepgrandchildren, Bill Paladino, Jaimie Paladino, Tom Paladino and Dan Paladino; and a great-grandchild, Tamryn Betts. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald Deihl; and a brother, Albert Boysen.
