On August 25, 1921, Kathleen was the eighth child born to the late Deacon Tom and Eugenia Hill Sims in Coweta County, GA.
She was married to the late Lewis Clark. They were blessed with adopted twin boys, Ronnie and Donnie Clark.
She was educated in Coweta County. Kathleen was a very gifted musician and played the piano for several churches. She also, owned and operated a beauty salon with her sister; Anna Belle Favors for many years.
At an early age, Kathleen joined Providence Baptist Church, and then later connected with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Newnan, GA. Years later; she and several others founded the Deliverance Revival Center under the guidance of Evangelist Mary Stone. She was the Overseer until fire destroyed the building. Many lives were touched and enriched through this ministry. In later years, she served faithfully as Overseer at Faith Tabernacle Holiness until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Lewis Clark, sisters; Jessie Mae Sims, Tommy S. Talley, Nicey S. Maddox, Lola S. Davis, and Anna Belle S. Favors, brothers; Madison, Robert Lee, and Isaiah Sims.
