Ronald Menzer Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services, Lone Tree. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ronald Duane Menzer, 57, of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Lone Tree, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at his home, following a brief illness. The Rev. Jason Pittman will officiate. Burial will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Menzer was born June 22, 1950, in Iowa City, the son of Vernon Leroy and Mary Eleanor (Edwards) Menzer. He was a mold machine mechanic at Oral B in Iowa City, an electrician in Florida and a skilled wood craftsman. He will be dearly missed by his mother; two brothers, Terry Menzer and his wife, Sandi, and Robert Menzer and his wife, Jennifer, of Andover, Minn.; and nine nieces and nephews, Darren, Jeff, Roxanne, Jodi, Shonda, Neal, Ian, Angel and Ezrah.
