Steven Phillips Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation: 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home. MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Steven L. Phillips, 50, of Muscatine, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Honorary casketbearers will be Tom McGourty, Scott Rohr, Wayne Smith, Joe "Patch" Truitt, Mike Saddoris and William Phillips. Following the service, there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Lupus Foundation or to the Steven L. Phillips Memorial Fund. Mr. Phillips was born Oct. 23, 1957, in Iowa City, the son of William A. and Betty N. (Rohr) Phillips. He married Donna K. Davis Aug. 20, 1977, in Muscatine. He was employed at H.J. Heinz for 26 years, retiring in 2004. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, going to the boat, fishing and especially, spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife; a son, Steven A.
