His first love was his family and he enjoyed spending precious time with his daughter, â€˜Mauriâ€™. He also enjoyed making hanging mobiles, surfing, the outdoors, flying and motorcycles. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Lindsey of Port Orange, Florida; one daughter, Maurianna Alice Morris of Port Orange, Florida; his father, Joseph Morris and wife, Suzanne, of Buda, Illinois; his mother, Catherine Rinehart of Bloomington, Illinois; one brother, Tim Morris of Sheffield, Illinois; one sister, Maddie Morris of Buda, Illinois; his maternal grandparents, Don and Mary Rinehart of Wyanet, Illinois; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Young of Muscatine; and two brothers-in-law, Barry Young of Muscatine and Zachary Young of Eldon, Missouri. Sam was preceded in death by a brother, Gus, and his paternal grandparents, Walter and Elsie Morris.
