Hazel Kock Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, Runge Mortuary, 838 E. Kimberly Rd., Davenport. Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the mortuary. BLUE GRASS, Iowa - Hazel Odetta Kock, 90, of Blue Grass, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Genesis West Medical Center. Burial will be at the Blue Grass Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Buffalo Ambulance or Blue Grass Fire Department. Mrs. Kock was born July 10, 1917, in Muscatine, the daughter of William and Nellie (Fix) Wunderlich. She married William Kock on June 5, 1940, in Muscatine County. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1999. She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Those left to honor her memory include three children, Bonita (Joseph) LaFeber of Galesburg, Karen (Byron) Bryant of Davenport and Larry (Lona) Kock of Muscatine; eight grandchildren, Barbara Passehl, Marsha Vetterkind, Janet LaFeber, Brian Stock, Shelley Stock, Lori Franklin, Travis Kock and Kaliska Kock; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great- great-grandchild.
