Tim Dolan TIPTON, Iowa - Charles Timothy Tim Dolan Jr., 62, of Tipton, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. Burial will be at the Woodbridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008, at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar County Cattlemen's Association. Mr. Dolan was born Sept. 9, 1945, in Chicago, the son of Charles T. and Anita M. VanTuyl Dolan. He attended St. Ambrose University, Western Illinois University and later Kirkwood Community College. In the late 1950s he started his lifelong career at Dolan, Lundeman Stockyard in Chicago. He was in the cattle business all of his life and worked as a cattle dealer for Equity Livestock and United Producers Livestock. He was a member of the Cedar County Cattlemen Association, the Moose, was involved in 4-H and served on the Cedar County Extension Council. He was also an auctioneer and former Sunday school teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Dolan.
