Darlene Houseman MUSCATINE, Iowa - Darlene A. Houseman, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her home. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Casketbearers will be Jeremy Houseman, Benjamin Houseman, Jesse Houseman, Alexandra Houseman. Burial will be at the High Prairie Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis community room. Visitation will be from 5 to7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Spangler United Methodist Church in Darlene's Name. Mrs. Houseman was born on November 28, 1932, in Muscatine, the daughter of Edward , Sr. and Daisy E. Snow Becker. She married Cecil E. Houseman on January 27, 1952, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 2001. She attended the Spangler United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Muscatine General Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing, traveling and visiting the Gulf Shores.
