James H. Puckett Jr. NEW BOSTON, Illinois - James H. Puckett Jr., 56 of New Boston, Illinois, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Trinity West in Rock Island, Illinois. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at New Boston United Methodist Church. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at New Boston United Methodist Church. Memorials may be left for the family. Dennison Funeral Home of Aledo, Ill., is handling arrangements. Jim was born Jan. 25, 1952, in Dexter, Missouri, the son of James H., Sr. and Maxine Casteele Puckett. He married Lucinda F. Coulter on April 12, 1972, in Aledo, Illinois. Jim worked for 25 years as a pipe fitter welder out of Local 25, Rock Island. Jim enjoyed the river, playing cards and he liked to snowmobile. He loved spending time with his friends and especially his grandkids. Jim is survived by his wife, Lucinda Puckett of New Boston, Illinois; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Dave Zimmerman of Ankeny, Iowa; three grandchildren, Emilee, Darrin and Thomas Zimmerman; his mother, Maxine Puckett of Fort Madison, Iowa; four siblings, David Puckett, Jake Puckett, Kathy ...[more]
