Marilyn J. Brooks

Marilyn J. Brooks, age 74, of Cumming, GA, passed away on August 5, 2021. She was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. Marilyn worked in banking for many years starting with Forsyth County Bank and finishing her career at Citizens Bank of Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James "Jimmy" Brooks; parents, James and Evelyn Tate. She is survived by her children, Leslie (Shane) Wehunt, Susan (Nathan) Waters; sister and brother, Janis Synnes, James Tate Jr.; grandchildren, Peyton Wehunt, Sadie Waters, Sari Waters; nieces, nephews, and other family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 8th, at 4:00 PM, in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Waters and Rev. Craig Richard officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 7th, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
