Delores A. Grim MUSCATINE, Iowa -Delores Adelia Grim, 76, of Muscatine, passed away on Aug. 19, 2008, at the Lutheran Homes in Muscatine. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, at funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home for the Nichols Christian Church in Delores' name. Mrs. Grim was born on June 23, 1932, in Nichols, the daughter of Edward L. and Edith M. (Newcomb) Grim. She worked in at Muscatine General Hospital in central supply and sterilization. She was a member of the Nichols Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was a past member of the Pike Grange. Delores enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and bingo. She will be deeply missed by her two brothers, Everett Grim and wife, Joan of Nichols and Franklin Grim and wife, Linda of Muscatine; a sister, Twyla Burch and husband, Victor, Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mildred Irene Elliott; a brother-in-law, John Elliott. [more]
