one volunteer work at schools and church. She is a member of PEO FC. She has been a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and involved in prayer groups, various committees, especially Deborah Circle and UMW having held various offices. After the birth of her grandchildren, Kaylee Dawn Jones born March 26, 1995, Kendi Marie Jones born March 22, 2000, and Kyra Jo Jones born October 1, 2001, Cheryl and her husband had the joy of daytime babysitting each one. She enjoyed traveling with her family to Hawaii, Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, Alaska, and other U. S. states. The RV provided fun vacations, especially with the grandgirls. After several tests, pancreatic cancer was diagnosed on June 9, 2006. God bless all those that offered support with food, visits, and especially prayers. So many friends have meant so much in my life, it is impossible to name them all without offending someone. Whatever would I have done without my Christian girl friends for spiritual support: Elaine S., Marie F., Carolyn S., Sue R., Carol D., Elnora S., Margaret S., Shirley B., Nancy S., Marsha P., Susie F., Eunice B., Mary H., Shirley A., July L., Doris H., Mabel, Jean K., and Nancy K., and my weekly Tuesday prayer group Mabel Terry, Dorothy Mull, Dorothy Burns, and Bob Rhoads. My husband has been my love companion, helping me through all situations. I have truly enjoyed my grandchildren and their activities. They constantly are a joy. How I have appreciated my Kim and Kory. We can count on phone calls and visits. Kim, with her heavy work load with teaching and three girls, manages to have us over for a meal; and I always try to do a load of laundry before Kory arrives as I know he will fold it!! A small task, but so helpful. God has been good and with me constantly. I am grateful for his mercy and unconditional love. Through Jesus Christ, my sins are forgiven. My prayer for you is that you may all know his love by reading the Bible and the repenting of your sins for everlasting life. Attend church and be involved in a Christian group. All this can give you joy and peace.
