Roger D. Richardson MCLEANSVILLE, North Carolina - Roger Dale Richardson, 53, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, at the Forbis amp; Dick North Elm Chapel. Rev. Susan Scott-Downs will officiate. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at the funeral home. Mr. Richardson was born November 4, 1954, the son of Theodore and Kathleen Richardson, in Lawton, Oklahoma. At an early age the family moved to West Liberty, Iowa, where he spent his formative years. Roger was a graduate of West Liberty High School. He was employed by Westside Transport and was previously employed by Salem Leasing. He was a wonderful and loving son, brother, husband, father and friend to all who met him. He is survived by his parents, Theodore and Kathleen Richardson, West Liberty, Iowa; his loving wife, Rose Marie Richardson; a daughter, Heather Richardson Fisher and Jeremy Richardson, of North English, Iowa; a daughter by marriage, Dawn Stoneman Long and husband, Jonathan, of High Point, Iowa; two brothers, Daryl Richardson of Atalissa, Iowa...[more]
