James Cleveland Towns was born in Troup County, GA, on January 9, 1933 to the late Harris and Minnie Towns.
He Grew up in Mountville, GA. He worked at a logger until he retired.
On September 25, 1959, he was joined in Holy Matrimony to Katherine Virginia Dean; and to this union six children were born. One preceded him in death.
James loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and children.
