JAMES HOFFMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - James K. Hoffman, 60, of Muscatine, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the Muscatine Care Center. Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008, at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Dr. Hal Green will officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church Youth Center. James was born on April 23, 1948, in Watseka, Illinois, the son of Kenneth S. and Betty A. Black Hoffman. He married Peggy Richardson in May of 2001, in Muscatine. He was a 1971 graduate of the Iowa State University majoring in industrial engineering. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hoffman of Muscatine; two special grandchildren, Jacob and Cody; his mother, Betty Hoffman Bright of Muscatine; one brother, Sam R.
