Michael 'Mike' Dean Lihs

Michael D. Lihs WAPELLO, IOWA - Michael Dean 'Mike' Lihs, 45, of Wapello, died Wednesday , November 5, 2008, at the Genesis Medical Center West Campus at Davenport. Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at the Fulton Cairo Cemetery, rural Morning Sun. Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Military rites will be by the Hamilton-Walters Marine Corps League of Burlington. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2008, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, the family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Michael was born on March 11, 1963, in Burlington, the son of Jackie Lihs and Martha Wagg. He married Lee Ann Whitington on March 22, 1986, in Wapello. He graduated from Wapello High School in 1981. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a truck driver having worked at Pain Enterprise of Muscatine. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Wapello and recently attended the First Baptist Church at Mediapolis.
