David A. Tyler MOSCOW, Iowa - David A. Tyler, 54, Moscow, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at University Hospitals in Iowa City, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on October 29, 2008. Memorial Service will be 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Wilton. Rev. Dennis Arndt will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Linda Timmsen and vocalist Henry Bentley. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at the church. A memorial has been established in his memory. The Bently Funeral Home in Wilton is handleing the arrangements. David was born on January 10, 1954, in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Eileen Hendricks Tyler Jr. He married Kimberly A. Foy on April 8, 1978, in Durant. He graduated from the Durant High School in 1972. He was an engineering technician with Muscatine County for 11 years. He devoted his life to his family and the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He was actively involved in wetland conservation, volunteering his time with the Odessa Wildlife Unit and personally managing waterfowl habitat at the Wiese Slough Wildlife Area. ...[more]

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Kim Tyler of Moscow; his sons, Josh Tyler and wife, Ciji, of Moscow, and Zach Tyler and wife, Janel, of Atalissa; three grandchildren, Mason, Cole and Austin; and a grandchild due on November 19; his parents, Eileen and Arthur Tyler Jr. of Moscow; a sister, Carol Jones and husband, Kevin, of Ames; and a brother, Larry Tyler and wife, Susan, of Wilton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents
