DAVID KROGMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - David A. Krogman, 57, of Muscatine, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an accident in Bakersfield, California. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Ralph J. Wittich Riley Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Sharon Phillips of the Jesus Mission will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. A luncheon will be held at the Fruitland Community Center following the funeral service. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Susan Krogman. David was born on January 29, 1951, in LeMars, Iowa, the son of Ambrose and Patricia Parson Krogman. He married Susan L. Eisele on January 30, 1971, in Muscatine. He had worked as a truck driver for 34 years and drove for Robison Trucking the past several years. David was a family man and especially loved his grandkids. He drove a race care, he loved to play golf, and he enjoyed gathering his family around him on Sunday to watch the races. Survivors include his wife, Susan L. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Nola Krogman, one sister, Lori Jaco, his father-in-law, William Eisele and an infant granddaughter, Alicia.
