Ida May Lester WILTON, Iowa - Ida May Lester, 94, of Wilton, died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Carrington Place in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at the United Methodist Church, Wilton. Rev. Tom Zeleny will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by organist Kathy Luethye and vocalist Henry Bentley. Inurnment will take place at the Harker Cemetery, rural Muscatine County, at a later date. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Wilton. Ida was born on January 8, 1914, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Ernest and Maybelle Pace Darting. She married Richard F. Lester on May 19, 1933, in Wilton. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1984. She was a regional advisor for Queen's Way Fashion. She also was a bookkeeper at First Ford in Durant and International Harvester in Wilton. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wilton and the Gold Links at the church. She enjoyed shopping and her family.
