She and her husband, Jerry enjoyed their involvement with the Genealogical Society and the Albany Historical Society. They genuinely embraced their roles as stewards of our earth on their farm outside of Miles. Many days were spent looking out their picture window or on the swing, enjoying the wildlife and the scenery. She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed plants and animals, especially birds. She imparted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren her love for nature. She is survived by a sister, Alethea Ward of Carlinville; a sister-law-Madonna Forcier of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Rosemary Wright and husband, David of Kannapolis, N. C., and Kay Ferris and husband, Jerry of Edgewood, Md.; a son, Dick Blair and wife, Terri of Cordova, Ill.; and numerous numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and a sister, Justina Patton.
