member of the First Christian Church of Davenport, King's Daughters, the Quota Club and the Ruth Circle of the church. A tireless volunteer, she spent many hours baking and doing crafts for charitable fund raising events and other activities within her church. She enjoyed regular Bible study, loved to read was an accomplished cook and baker and took great joy in providing transportation for her many friends who did not drive. Above all else, her family was the center of her life and she was an avid fan of her children's and grandchildren's athletic events throughout the years. Those left to honor her memory include her children, Chad MacDonald and wife, Linda, of Blue Grass, Iowa, Claudia Sage and husband, Richard, of Alpha, Illinois, and Lee MacDonald and friend, Holly Jasper, of Davenport; her grandchildren, Cindy Richards and husband, Scott, Travis MacDonald, Tony DiToro and wife, Lupe, Matt Sage and wife, Bree, Joel Sage and wife, Tara, Richie Sage and wife, Pam and Jan Hulick and husband, Shane; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, JoAnn Dittert of Jefferson; her sister-in-laws, Mildred MacDonald, Gwen MacDonald and Jessie Buckmann; a brother-in-law, George MacDonald; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Lois Beardslee; and her brothers, Donald Eason and Robert BudĀ Eason.
