Dorothy E. Livingston VIOLA, Illinois - Dorothy E. Livingston, 86, of Aledo, formerly of New Boston, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Aledo Rehab amp; Health Care Center. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009, at the Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Reverend Charles Reynolds of the First Christian Church, Keithsburg, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shane, Clint and Brian Nelson, Brandon Gasaway, David Howard and Chad Deitz. Burial will be at the New Boston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009, at the funeral home. Dorothy was born on January 22, 1923, in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Verdie Hayes Briear. She married Ed Livingston in 1963, in Aledo. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a bartender in New Boston for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and bowling.
