Survivors including his wife are a son, S'ean (Kelly) Novak, Antigo; two daughters, Lisa (Mike) Deacy, Hudson, Julie (Mike) Warning, Weston; two grandchildren, Haley Novak, Antigo, Tyler (Bri) Deacy, Baldwin; three brothers, Victor (Marcy) Novak, Milwaukee, Rev. Thomas Novak, Milwaukee, William (Joni) Novak, Antigo; a sister, Margaret (Bruce) Brown, Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joseph (Mary) Novak, Jr., and Gerald Novak. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery where the Antigo veterans will conduct military rites. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday and the Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
