Keith Allen Thomas, age 78, passed away on Tuesday September 7th, 2021 at this home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on May 6th, 1943, to parents, George A. and Florence Thomas. He graduated from East High School and began working at Lester Park Shell Gas Station. He soon was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. Later he went on to establish North Shore Contractors, which was in business for 18 years. In 1994, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and started Southland Contracting, Inc.
Keith loved spending his childhood summers at the family's island cabin in Saganaga Lake in Northern Minnesota and enjoying activities on the lake with friends. Over the years he became a successful contractor, and was well known for the beautiful furniture and cabinetry he crafted in his shop and home. He also enjoyed restoring old cars and RV's, camping and riding the sand dunes. His morning workouts with friends at the gym were very special to him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosie, and his daughter, Amy and sister, Roberta Lindgren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, JR.
