David Brenneman Jr. NICHOLS, Iowa - David Brenneman Jr., 46, of Nichols, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church hall in Nichols. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday August 14, 2009, at the Henderson Barker funeral home, West Liberty. A memorial fund has been established at the Farmers and Merchants Savings Bank in Nichols to assist the family with expenses. David was born on July 25, 1963, in Montgomery County, Mississippi, the son of David Sr. and Lottie May Brenneman. He married Mary Sue Turner on August 15, 1998. He served in the Marine Corp and owned and operated Brenneman Services in Nichols. He was a lover of the outdoors, an avid fisherman and enjoyed fast cars. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Brenneman; three sons, Kendall, Korby and wife, Susan, and Kurtis; a step-son, Devon Griffin; two sisters, Cherie Howes and husband, Russ, of Nichols and Barb Wells and husband, Scott, of Coralville; a granddaughter, Rae.
