RICARDO GARCIA AUSTIN, Texas - Ricardo M. Garcia, 52, formerly of Muscatine, died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at Saint David's Hospital in Austin, Texas. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at St. Mary Church in Muscatine. The Reverend Joseph Sia of Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate the Mass. Ricardo was born on April 25, 1957, in Eagle Pass, Texas, the son of Juan and Ernestina Mireles Garcia. He was a graduate of L-M High School in 1977. He enjoyed traveling and sight seeing. He loved his family very much and was loved by his family as well. Survivors include his parents, Juan and Ernestina Garcia of Muscatine; one brother, Mario Garcia; one sister, Elsa Valenzuela; three nephews Ruben Valenzuela Jr., Oscar Garcia, and Omar Garcia; and two nieces, Belinda Castro and Noemi Wagner.
