Keith H. Robbins WAPELLO, Iowa - Keith H Robbins, 78, of Wapello, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the United Methodist Church, Wapello. The Revs. Sue-Ellen Sherman and Rev. Scott Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun. Family and friends will gather for a luncheon and fellowship after the burial at the Wapello Ambulance Building. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, where the family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of the United Methodist Church building fund. Keith was born on June 16, 1931, the son of John Carl and Beulah May Helmers Robbins, in LaHarpe, Illinois. He married Lois Ann Housman on September 2, 1949, in Nashua. He attended country school in Illinois and graduated from Yarmouth High School in Yarmouth. He farmed all of his life. on the Sperry School Board and was a 4-H leader in Wapello. He was a past Sunday School teacher. He was an avid Cubs and Hawkeye fan. He loved his family and enjoyed the family activities. He is survived by his wife, Lois Robbins; a son, Timothy W. Robbins and wife, Elizabeth, of Wapello; two daughters, Brenda K. Wagg and husband, Thomas, of Cedar Rapids and Pamela J. Pugh and husband, Mark, of Columbus Junction; 10 grandchildren, Aaron Robbins and wife, Christina, Angela Jenks and husband, Sean, Doug Housman and wife, Faith, Crystal Wiley and Jeff, Janelle Clymer and husband, Mike, Andrew Wagg and wife, Megan, Morgan Wilcox and husband, Jason, Mallory Wagg, Todd Pugh and Matt Pugh; and eight great-grandchildren, Lexy, Colby and Cian Jenks, Aiden and Owen Housman, Bryn and Bristol Wiley and Samuel Wagg. He was preceded in death by his parents.
