2 to Dec. 1, 1991, serving as a drill instructor and he attained the rank of master sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War, receiving a Purple Heart, Cuban Crisis and other worldwide services. He was also a recruiter for the Marines for four years in Chicago. He enjoyed archery, basketball, tennis and racquetball. One of his hobbies was Jaguars, he was an entrepreneur of Jaguars, thus the nickname, Jag Man. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Ehrma Jackson of Muscatine; his children, Lorraine Kay Jackson of Muscatine, Liza Renee Jackson of Dayton, Ohio, and Michael Boges of Albany, Geogia; two grandchildren, Milan Imanuelle Jackson and Latrice Danielle Jackson; a great-grandchild, Noah Anthony Jackson; a brother, Richard S. Jackson of Chicago, Illinois; a sister, Neomia Jackson Malcolm and husband, Osmond, of Oak Park, Illinois; nieces, Margaret Ann Frank, Cynthia M. Frank, Judy E. Frank, Angela Jackson, Theresa Jackson, Mary Jackson-Anders and husband, Jim and Renata Frank; and nephews, Henry Preston Frank III, Anthony Lewis Frank, Carvelle Machlan, Mark Jackson, Thaddeus Jackson, Jamar Jackson, Hiram Jackson and Esteban Jackson. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Wiley; his father, Garridge Jackson Sr.; a sister, Madie Lee Jackson Frank; a brother, Henry P. Frank; and two nieces, Patrice Frank and Anita L. Frank-Machlan.
