Terry Lang Leonard TOLEDO, Iowa -Terry Lang Leonard, 57, Muscatine, formerly of Toledo, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at his home in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Christ United Methodist Worship Center, Toledo. The Rev. Mary Schnepf will officate the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama. A memorial fund has been established. Terry was born on January 1, 1952, in Long Beach, Califronia, the son of Lang J. and Elizabeth Barnett Leonard. He graduated from South Tama County High School in 1971. He married Rhonda Staker on July 28, 2000, in Muscatine. He owned Rolling Oats Limited Trucking Co. He enjoyed spending time in his backyard where he loved landscaping, working with plants, flowers, and birdhouses. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends and going on trips. He was a very generous and giving person who liked to help people. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends. member of the Ridge Riders Saddle Club. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Leonard of Muscatine; his mother, Elizabeth Bates and husband, Jack, of Tama; his father, Lang J. Leonard and wife, Eris, of Cedar Rapids; five children, Tammy Leonard-Fuller and husband, John, of Omaha, Nebraska, L. D. Leonard of Gilman, Eric Leonard of Clear Water, Florida, Daniel Leonard of Des Moines, and Marshall Leonard of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Brenda Lukasko of Cedar Rapids, Nancy Purk and husband, Mike, of Toledo, and Sharon Campbell of Toledo; a step-brother, Scot Taylor and wife, Shelley, of Tama; his aunt, Sue Allen and husband, Paul, of Trenton, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
