THOMAS F. OGILVIE MIAMI, Florida - Thomas F. Ogilvie, 78, of Miami, Florida, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. A Private Service will be held in Muscatine. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences for the Ogilvie family may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Thomas was born on July 30, 1931, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Harold W. and Jessamine Pain Ogilvie. He was a graduate of Muscatine High School, class of 1949, and the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in the class of 1954, with a degree in architecture. His degree in architecture led to work with the National Y.M.C.A. and later with a private architectural firm in Chicago. Upon his retirement, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he enjoyed traveling and visiting his home in Muscatine.
