DIANA L. STRAUSE MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Diana L. Strause, 62, of Muscatine, died Sunday, January 3, 2010, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorial Service will be 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at the funeral home. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Gary Strause. Diana was born on September 18, 1947, in Muscatine, the daughter of Raymond and Helen Burns Burke. She married Dennis Strause Sr. on September 16, 1961, in Muscatine. They divorced after 26 years of marriage. She retired from Monsanto in November of 2002. She enjoyed playing BINGO and cards. She also enjoyed humming birds and loved angels. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
