n College in Indianola, with a degree in corporate communications. He worked for ING in Des Moines. He married Wendy Cooper, his high school sweetheart, on June 19, 2004, at Simpson College. He and his wife shared their love and life together in Waukee. He loved music, travel, wine and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved animals and served on the board of directors for Animal Lifeline of Iowa, a no-kill shelter. He was outgoing, vivacious and a dear friend to so many. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Boka of Waukee, and their beloved cats, Picaboo and Ellie; his parents, Steven and Diane Boka of Muscatine; a brother, Jeremy Boka and wife, Mary, and their children, Lily and Lauren, of Altoona; his paternal grandparents, Virginia Boka of North Fort Myers, Florida, and Stanley Boka of Gainesville, Florida; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Catherine Bauer of Pocahontas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Deb Cooper of Letts; a sister-in-law, Laura Cooper of Letts; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
