HELEN V. TIMM MUSCATINE, Iowa - Helen V. Timm, 95, of Muscatine, died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2010, at the Zion Lutheran Church. Reverend Stephen Pera will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren, David Maeglin, John Maeglin, Steven Maeglin, Thomas Maeglin, Bill Maeglin, Timm Bechter, Joyce Geilker, Frank Bechter, Cynthia Corby, Tammy Sadler, Eddy Timm, and Harold Timm. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Homes, Zion Lutheran Church, or Genesis Hospice. Helen was born on June 27, 1914, in Des Moines, the daughter of Roy and Helen Price Pallas. She married Harold C. Timm on April 26, 1936, in Boone. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1998. She graduated from Iowa State University majoring in home economics.
