Philip E. Warren OWENSBORO, Kentucky - Philip E. Warren, 86, of Owensboro, Kentucky, died Thursday, February 4, 2010. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Owensboro, Kentucky. Private burial will take place in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro KY 42301. Philip was born on May 13, 1923, in Ainsworth, Iowa, the son of Wilbur and Gladys Warren. He was a Navy veteran of the World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church. He is survived by his son, Philip Warren, Jr. of Owensboro; two daughters, Patricia Tish Warren and Elizabeth Liz Mann both of Owensboro; two granddaughters, Brenda Nesbit Howard of Wilton, Iowa, and Mary Elizabeth Mann of Owensboro; a grandson, Jorge Aaron Mann of Owensboro; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Conaway Gaeta of Kodiak, Arkansas; a great-great-grandson and a sister, Evelyn Harms of Br...[more]
