r of the Columbus Junction United Presbyterian Church where he had been a past deacon and member of Y.U.P. Youth of the United Presbyterian Church. He was an Army reservist with the 339th Military Police Unit in Davenport, but deployed with the 354th Military Police Unit from St. Louis, Mo. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, playing football, singing, watching movies and spending time with his family, especially his three younger brothers. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Todd and Eileen Heck of Columbus Junction and Pam Allison of New Virginia; his brothers, Logan Heck, Mason Heck and Connor Heck, all of Columbus Junction; his white Labrador, Annie; his grandparents, Ruth Heck of Washington, Don Heck of New Hampton, Gary and Joyce Hahn of West Liberty and Stan and Elizabeth Allison of Grandview; his great grandmother, Nima McClelland of Washington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
