Don M. Williams CONESVILLE, Iowa - Don Morris Williams, 76, Conesville, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at his country home near Conesville, surrounded by his family. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the United Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction. The Rev. Faye Fedlam will officiate. Casket bearers will be Tim Roettger, Roger Meier, Jerry Madsen, James Woepking, Sam Smith and Tom DeVore. Burial will take place in Cambrian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church, Iowa Hospice and the Conesville First Responders in his name. Don was born on August 4, 1933, in Cotter, the son of Eben Morris and Frances Marie Bebb Williams. He married Donna Davis on December 26, 1953, in Mount Pleasant. He served 4 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-57. He farmed most of his life and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Donna Williams of rural Conesville; his children, Vicki Williams of Conesville, Becky Roettger and husband, Tim, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Cindy Meier and husband, Roger, of Sioux City, Linda Madsen and husband, Jerry, of Iowa City, and Cheryl Woepking and husband, James, of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren, Alexandra, Eric, Noah and Nicholas Roettger, Kelcie and Brooke Meier, Caleb Madsen and Derrick, Whitney, Emily, Nic and Donald Jace Woepking; and two sisters, Margaret Smith of Columbus Junction and Frances Curtis of Tempe, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rick Williams; and a sister, Erma Jean.
