Ronald J. Rodrigues

Ronald J. Rodrigues, 75, of Hope Street, died November 28, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Joyce (Collins) Rodrigues whom he married April 25, 1970. Born in Warren, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (DeCosta) Rodrigues. Ron proudly served in the United States Army. A graduate of the University of Rhode Islands class of 1964, he started his accounting business in 1975. He was the treasurer of Good Shepherd in Pawtucket, RI and served in their vestry choir. Ron was an avid fisherman, golfer and a member of Crestwood Country Club, Rehoboth, MA. Besides his wife Joyce, he is survived by his brother, Tony Rodrigues of Fernandina Beach, FL, and although Ron did not have children he was the cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Jr., Richard, Mary, Patricia, and Rita. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11 AM in St. Michaels Episcopal Church, 399 Hope St., Bristol. Burial will be private.
