Alice C. Dodge

Dodge, Alice C. (Simard), 87, died on September 24, 2017. She was the wife of John E. Dodge for 64 years, daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Grennon) Simard, sister of Evelyn Gagnon. She was a graduate of St. Claire High School and St. Josephs School of Nursing. She leaves one daughter, Mary, and her husband Joseph P. Stachura, Jr., of North Smithfield and many, many friends. She is predeceased by her brothers Gene Simard and his wife, Carol, Bob Simard, and sister Florence Jolin and her husband Pat. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Agathas Parish, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are very welcome. Please omit flowers. We are especially grateful to the Hope Hospice Palliative Care Center of Rhode Island.
