Margaret Elizabeth Quigley COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa - Margaret Elizabeth Quigley of Columbus Junction passed away on July 3, 2010. Margaret was born on August 4, 1913, in Sholes, Nebraska, to William Arthur and Jane Peters Williams. She attended school in Cotter, Iowa, graduating in 1931. On July 9, 1942, she married William Glenn Quigley. He preceded her in death in 1981. Margaret taught in Louisa County rural schools then earned her degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1970. She taught for the Columbus Community School District, retiring from teaching in 1982. She spent her later years sharing her time between her families in Iowa and California, where she was known as Nain, due to her proud Welsh heritage. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Retired Teachers Association.
