Dr. John Lee Parks

John Lee Parks MUSCATINE, Iowa - John Lee Parks, MD, 89, died June 29, 2010, at the Muscatine Trinity Hospital. A private family memorial was held to celebrate his life. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services cared for the family and their arrangements. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Muscatine Community College Foundation, 563-288-6003. John was born on September 12, 1920, in Muscatine, the son of George Clyde Parks and Imo Lee Parks who have preceded him in death. He was raised in Muscatine and married Ann Frances Stein on September 12, 1948. During his life he worked on various projects for the benefit of his family and the community of Muscatine. He is survived by his wife, Ann Frances Parks; four sons, John Lee Parks II, William M. Parks, MD and wife, Ruth, Douglas Scott Parks, MD and wife, Michelle and David Parks; a brother, George Oaks Parks, MD of Hartford City, Indiana; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary Edith Stein.
