Cody Teshu Dittmer was born in Riverside California on September 20, 2000 to Scott and Yumiko Dittmer. On September 28th, 2021 he was called to his eternal resting spot alongside numerous friends and family members. Cody moved to Phoenix, AZ along with his family shortly after his first birthday and has remained a resident ever since. Quick with a smile or a smirk, Cody was always the bright-light in the room. Entertaining us all with his numerous and ever-changing stories. He was a faithful little brother to his adoring big sister Chayse. Who kept a watchful eye over him and his band of neighborhood friends. Cody was always involved in sports, first with football and then as he grew to well over 6 feet tall, as a standout center for numerous private basketball teams in the Scottsdale YMCA leagues. He took a number of trips to Asia and the Pacific islands to visit his maternal relatives, who reside in Osaka Japan. During the summer months, he spent many a weekend on the lakes of Phoenix, tubing with his friends and family, enjoying the outdoors.
