Norman Perez March 30, 1962 - September 28, 2021 Norman Perez, 59, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully and went to his Heavenly home on September 28, 2021. He and his twin sister were born on March 30, 1962 in San Marcos, Texas to Ruben Perez Sr. and Elisa Perez. Norman grew up in Clifton, Texas, a small town he loved. He graduated from Travis High School in 1982. Norman spent his adult life in Austin, where he later met his partner, Lavon, who he loved dearly. His passion was for animals, but he was best known for his love of cats. He loved to rescue cats, nurture them back to health and loved them as his own. He also enjoyed working on his yard. Whether it was planting flowers, mowing, or just cleaning up around the yard, he loved being outside enjoying beautiful weather. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Perez Sr., He is survived by his domestic partner of 21 years, Lavon Dunaway, mother, Elisa Perez (Andres), brother, Ruben Perez Jr., sister Bertha Eide (Keith), brother Ben Perez, and twin sister Norma Perez, along with 5 nephews and nieces, and countless family and friends all whom he loved and cherished.
