Misty Dawn Underwood, 29, of Burlington died at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident near Iowa City. Born February 11, 1981 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Garry Underwood and Diana Hutchings. Miss Underwood was a 2000 Mt. Pleasant High School graduate. She was of the protestant faith and enjoyed playing darts and being on the computer. Survivors include her father, Garry Underwood of Fort Madison; mother, Diana Hutchings Crear of Burlington; one sister, Tammy Anderson of Des Moines; two nieces and one nephew. Her maternal grandparents, Lyle and Mary Hutchings, and paternal grandparents, Otis and Helen Underwood, preceded her in death. The family visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 12th, in Lunning Chapel. Cremation has been accorded. [more]
