E. Rachel Decker ALEDO, Illinois - E. Rachel Decker, 90, of Aledo, died on Friday, March 18, 2011, at the Lutheran Home in Muscatine, Iowa. Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will take place on Monday, March 21, 2011, at the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the funeral home. Memorials may be left to the Joy Baptist Church. Rachel was born on December 1, 1920, in Little York, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Florence Waterman Trial. She graduated from Alexis High School. She married Charles E. Decker on January 24, 1942, in Alexis. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2000. She was a homemaker. She was employed at the Times Record Co. in Aledo for many years and was a member of the Joy Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Michael of Joy; two sons, Rick Decker and wife, Peggy of Muscatine, Iowa, Ron Decker and wife, Theresa of Viola; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
