Melissa Ann Eilander, age 55 of Prairie City, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Grace Alive Church in Prairie City. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Grace Alive in Prairie CIty. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The daughter of Melvin and Linda (Hinckley) McReynolds, Missy was born on October 28, 1965 in Knoxville, Iowa. She graduated from Prairie City High School in 1984 and went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from AIB. On May 31, 1986, she was united in marriage to Scott Eilander. Missy worked as a supervisor in Medical Insurance. She loved her dogs and enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, shopping, having her nails done and crocheting blankets, even though she never finished them.
