Shawna Marie Frakes

Shawna Frakes, 40 of Des Moines passed away suddenly on Saturday Oct. 30, 2021. Shawna was born in Des Moines to Kenneth and Paulette Christian. She attended Roosevelt High School and was currently employed by McDonalds! Shawna was a loving wife to Gary and loving mother to three sons! Her greatest joy was being a proud mom and telling everyone about her boys! She always had a smile for everyone and was a caring friend to many. Shawna is survived by her children, Kenny Christian, Alex and Nicholas Frakes all of Perry, Iowa, her mother, Paulette; sister, Kelli (Dave) Linn also of Perry, brother, Justin Christian of Hiawatha and nephew, Jeff Christian of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary in 2017 and her father, Ken Christian. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.[more]
